Leave no Ooma behind, Google Voice Mail for Ooma Hub

`"Leave no Ooma behind."

I have the Ooma Hub at work, the church office.  It works well, but it would be better to read Church voice mail, the way Google Voice allows, for free.  Right now, Ooma allows offers similar but limited services too Google's voice transcription, but charges more for it, while Google offers an excellent version for free.

To do this,
Google Voice Extensions must be setup between your Ooma and Google Voice.  Maybe we don't even need Google Voice Extensions to allow Google Voice to be the direct voice mail for Ooma.

Either way, Ooma will not allow this on their 1st generation Ooma Hub, only on the new Ooma Telo.  Possibly a "reason" to upgrade, right?  To show this is no conspiracy theory,  it's important to know, that this integration was announced by Ooma.  They promised it, quietly skipped it for profit.
...“ooma, Inc. today announced a set of ooma Premier™ Google Voice Extensions (GVE) compatible with its current and future home phone systems planned for summer release.” (Press release, March 18, 2009)
Later in the same release:
“An ooma system consists of the ooma Hub™ connected to a broadband connection and an existing home phone.”
My question: Can I use the Google Voice Extensions with my Hub and Scouts, as promised?

But we're not here to merely point out the failure of the execs to put (all) their customers first.  I understand they may have a financial or corporate reason to do so.  But it's just bad business.

So please, I offer the following email for you all to likewise send to ooma as an official request.
1st, Email info@ooma.com:
Subject:
Google Voice Mail for Ooma Hub
Body:
I'd like to thank Ooma for allowing the Bluetooth adapter for non-Premier subscribers.  It really shows you care about all your customers.
So I'd like to request Google Voice Extensions for Ooma Hub.  Leave no Ooma behind.
Sincerely,
...
Here's hoping they turn around and help all their customers, not just sell their newest product with a monthly premium.  That would show repentance, maybe even renew our hope in them.  Perhaps that'll help us recommend them again.  That will increase their bottom line and longevity both.  We all want to stay afloat.
